In April this year, I received an inquiry from a new client, Ravi, about shipping a batch of marble tiles.
From our conversations, it was clear that Ravi was hesitant to trust us. So, I introduced our office environment via video, highlighted the big clients we’ve worked with, and showed him our 1,800 square meter Grade A office building. I also mentioned that we are vice presidents of 13 freight forwarding associations, including the Shenzhen Aviation Association, WCA, JC Trans, WIFFA, and OLO. Finally, I shared a testimonial video from another satisfied client, Tom.
For this shipment, I proposed a sea route from China’s Yantian Port, across the Pacific, to the destination port. There were two sailing options: a slow ship, which would take about a month but was cheaper, and a fast ship, which would take 15-20 days but cost more. Ultimately, Ravi entrusted us with the order. The goods arrived on April 28th, and Ravi was very pleased with our service and timing. This successful collaboration earned us Ravi’s trust, and he promised to use us again for future shipments.
